Newest Senior : Meet Kinsey!

Hey ya’ll, I’ve been crazy busy  these last weeks but had to quick and update some recent images, although I hardly know which ones to choose. Kinsey is a senior this year and she’s amazing. We had so much fun on our shoot, even though the day started out cold and overcast. Kinsey is extremely artistic, very talented and colorful to say the least. Her gallery just had to be full of vibrant colors…  just the way I like it! Here are a few…  enjoy!

Finally have time to update! Senior Portraits: Robbie Mast & Wedding Portraits: Joel and Bethany

Okay friends I’ve been crazy busy here this summer and not everything made it’s way to the blog. Well, I’m finally somewhat feeling more on track, and though it’s after 1am, I found this is the only moment I have to update a few,  so here they are.  Let’s start with Joel & Bethany…

Joel & Bethany had the most beautiful day of sunshine for their “homegrown” outdoor wedding in Bethany’s parents backyard. It was a lovely day filled with friends and family … some old, some now new. What a joy it is to photograph the wedding of someone you knew when they were only a child! They were such a fun couple to photograph, because they so freely expressed the passionate innocense of their lovestory. Ahhhhh….  my kind of couple!  So here’s to Joel and his beautiful wife Bethany! May you be ever so richly blessed as you share and express your love, showing others the way to be consumed with love and cherish it so tenderly as to hold onto it’s innocense. You two are truly an inspiration and I was honored to capture these moments of your love story. To  Joel & Bethany!

 

 

Next up is Robbie Mast. Robbie is the son of my bestest friend ever and I had such a great time on this shoot! Well, how could we not have fun with Robbie’s dad along? Tim, you crack me up, you crack your son up, and I love the images I got of him trying hard NOT to laugh. So glad you came along for the shoot, but next time, let’s all just skip the pancakes, deal? I really can’t decide which are my “favorite images” because there is so much I love about so many of them. But the absolutely beautiful contrasting colors of some of these win my heart.

Incidently, Robbie has just been nominated for Homecoming King! Congrats Robbie! Hope you win!

what a beautiful day it was for this session. My clients picked an amazing venue for their portraits and i’m so honored to be shooting their wedding in November as well!  I hope you enjoy the images we’ve gottten here.

Senior Photos: Senior Rep – Evan Day

Things have been crazy busy here at CWP with a lot of out of town work, too much to show it all at once, but I do have some updates for you all! First is our senior rep Evan Day! Evan is a an amazing golfer and we’ve had to squeeze his session into two parts to fit around his golf schedule, because he’s been in several tournaments over the summer! Look out Tiger Woods! Wedding: James & Angie Mills

Many things can go wrong on a wedding day, but probably the most feared is rain on the outdoor wedding of your dreams.  It took a lot of faith to keep believing for sunshine as we stood holding umbrellas over our heads on July 11th! But faith prevailed and the sun shone brightly, it was a beautiful wedding indeed.  i have a  few sneak peeks for everyone..

Bethany and Joel are about the sweetest couple I’ve ever met! I just loved working with them..  they weren’t shy about kissing in front of the camera for great romance images and I LOVE THAT!!!  I can’t wait to shoot their Wedding in September!! Enjoy a few of their favorite images….

What a fantasticly lovely day June 27th was for a wedding! And what a fantasticly lovely couple to be celebrating a new union on such a day! Lindsay and Drew Barker were wonderful and such fun…  such a great family! I am so honored to have been part of such a special day for you both. Your family has become very dear to me and I hope to continue to be your personal family photographer for many years to come! Thank you Burke Family for choosing CWP!

Sneek Peek of… JESSICA!

Today I had the wonderful priviledge of photographing one of my last 2009 seniors for the year and what a joy Jessica McFerran was to photograph! We had a great time discovering some fresh locations with that real industrial urban feel to them, and they were GREAT. Thanks Jessica for choosing CWP to do your senior portraits. You were a blast!

Hello Again!

Meet the Janikowski’s! I met this sweet family a couple of years ago when I shot their daughter’s senior photos. I had a blast with them then, and this time around was just as wonderful, although much much colder… lol

They were gracious enough to bare with me through equipment issues, and even turned off the football game to pose!  lol… even their sweet doggie joined the shutterbug fun!

BRRrrrrrrrr…. it was SOO Cold!!

Meet a VERY BRAVE family….  the Rollins! It was extremely chilly but we seet out for the park just the same. A little playing on the playground to get the blood pumping and thenoff to the pond and finally away from the wind in the covered bridge! If only the sun would have shown it’s pretty face and warmed us. But this family were real troopers, especially Karson! The youngest one of the group and by far the coldest, he really toughed it out.

A big thanks to The Indigo Hotel, my favorite photo stop on almost all of my shoots. A great place to get warm from a November chill too! Everyone loves to get a picture on the green sofa and of course Miles is usually there somewhere to play with!…probably the most photographed dog in Columbus!
